Happy Birthday Taylor!

I just want to take a little time out from all of this baby hulabaloo to wish my cute husband a happy birthday! Poor kid, I feel like his birthday is being overshadowed this year by our bouncing bundle of joy.

Taylor told me that he doesn't have time to celebrate today because he has too many things to do. He's got to finish all of his school projects today so that he can inevitably morph into a fatherly figure later this week. So here I sit on his birthday with nothing planned because he informed me he may not be home for dinner and doesn't even have time for cake. He said: "today is just a bad day for a birthday". Isn't that the saddest thing you've ever heard?? I guess we're celebrating tomorrow with dinner and a birthday cake, but I do feel bad that he won't have any fun on his actual day.

I am sad to report that I'm pretty sure I won't be having this baby today. Wouldn't it have been neat if I could have had Taylor's first born on his birthday in the same hospital that he was born in, 27 years later!!?? Too bad baby girl didn't get the memo.

I couldn't help myself, I had to at least put up the birthday banner.

Update: Still no sign of progression as of Friday, so I'm going back tomorrow so the Dr. can strap me up to the fetal monitor to see if she can find a reason to induce me sooner than this weekend. She won't be working this weekend and would like to deliver this baby herself, hence the reason to induce me earlier than the mandated "week over".

P.S. After 2 unanswered text messages, my frustrated friend, Gina informed me that I should make a public announcement as to why I'm avoiding everyone's calls and messages. I only have 200 texts a month and 500 minutes a month. After weeks of excited friends and family checking in, I have now dwindled all of my resources down to the bare bones and need to conserve what little I have left so that I can actually notify everyone AFTER the baby is born. So, if you text me before she's here don't expect an answer and if you call me and you're not on AT&T, expect a return call after 9 pm... lame I know, but I don't know if we could handle an astronomical phone bill along with all the hospital bills. But, I do want everyone to know how much your excitement means to me. Baby Girl already has so many people who love her; thank you for all of your support!!!!

Crystal tell Taylor Happy Birthday from Jed and me! I hate that his birthday fell on a not so great day this year. Just think next year you guys will get to have a combined birthday party sometime between his birthday and Baby Girl's! That is so cute! :O) Lithie texted me today and asked if I knew anything new with you... lol now I can tell her! :O) Oh and just so you know I'm AT&T :O) Call if you get bored and need your mind taken off of being antsy. :O) We love you and we'll keep praying for everything to go by nice and smoothly in the next few days!

Hang in there these last few days!!! I am so not envious of your pregnant state, but I am jealous of the awesome reward you will be bringing home with you soon. Take extra naps, and make sure Taylor gives lots of massages to those swollen feet. I wish I was close enough to bring you in a meal!! I'm thinking of you everyday! (But I won't call :) :) I expect a gazillion pics of her on your blog since I can't see her in person!

Happy Birthday to Taylor! I do feel sorry for him about it being a bad day to have a birthday. Colby's is Sunday and he's busy right now with projects as well. It's just a stinky time of year for school, but the baby stuff is exciting, and I'm sure Taylor doesn't mind sharing his birthday this year with the baby hulabaloo. So excited to see this little gal!!!

Crystal! I have been such a blog slacker, I didn't even know you were having a baby. I am sooo excited for you! I sincerely hope that your doctor allows you to start sooner than "a week later." You are my hero for going past your due date. That just stinks. I wish we lived closer so our little ones could get to know each other because they will be so close in age. I hope all goes well with you (and it will). I will be sending happy thoughts your way. Good luck and Congratulations!

I check your blog like 8 times a day seeing if Baby Girl has arrived! I'm not a stalker... Hope fully baby girl will figure things out soon. My water broke but that was about it. Had to have a c-section but I was just glad to get him here!

So... at about 5:30 today I was asking Jason if he thought you'd had your baby yet... we decided you had... actually, I decided that you were probably having her right then- but no. I'm a little disappointed. :)- only to figure out that I'm not as in tune as I thought. :) We're so excited for you- let us know if you need anything. :) And...tell Taylor we say Happy Birthday. I guess you can let him get away with the no celebration thing this year- I'm pretty sure you're going to have plenty to celebrate this week. :)

Happy Birthday to Taylor! All day yesterday I felt the urge to call and wish him a happy birthday...funny how that would have been rather unusual but I feel like I know him much more than I really do.

P.S. I'll continue my emails, they're free!!

Okay, so my dream didn't come true, but it was so real and I was sure that you had baby girl. We want to wish Taylor Happy Birthday too and sorry that it wasn't a great day for him.

School is such a downer on ones birthday. At least he is willing to celebrate with you tomorrow, and I am glad to see that he was semi smiling in the photos with the gifts. How nice you are to get him things that he likes. I totally struggle with that.

way to work on your Dr. so that she is willing to find ways to "help" you along while she is still on call. I was worried about that with Harrison, but somehow it worked out to be a Sunday morning that my Dr. actually was on call, total miracle for me.

You are doing so great, I also totally stalk your blog, I am not ashamed to tell you that. I know that you might be a little freaked out right now, but that will pass. I can't wait to see your new baby girl, and to hear the name that you pick, she is going to be perfect. And Mike and Kim better call us, or so help me I will be calling your phone all weekend, I do have AT&T ( hello have to have the iphone) anyway good luck, and we are thinking of you.

Happy Birthday Taylor! I'm glad you did something for his real birthday although it would have been exciting for baby to arrive. bummer. well... I'm waiting (just like you) and wish you the best! I'll just plan on seeing you after your baby is born and you've adjusted. :) Keep up dating the blog since you can't text!!!

Happy Birthday Taylor! And Crystal...I just want to let you know that I am on AT&T...so if you feel you have a moment to call me, and inform me of your precious arrival, I would LOVE to hear from you! The whole office is anxiously waiting. I sure miss you. I can't go into details, or I may exceed the limit of comments you may receive-or blogger may all together shut down! So- to keep it short, you are an awesome Hygienist, a great person to know, and very dear friend to me. Good luck incubating these next few days- unless she's here, and in that case, make your mandatory calls, then call ME :)
Love ya!
