If you looked up the word Frost
(as in my maiden name,
not the actual word)
in the thesaurus
you might find next to it
the words:
competitive, rivalrous, aggressive, unpeaceful, contending....
you get the idea.
We like ourselves
some "friendly" competition.
So,
when it was realized
that we would have the entire Frost clan together after 5 years,
we had to incorporate a day
dedicated solely to the spirit of competitiveness.
We started off the day by loosening up
with a soak in the pool,
and winding down with a little R and R.
after which,
was followed by
fraternizing with some of the other teams.
Don't let the friendliness fool you.
When the games began,
it was a dog eat dog world.
Every team (family) for themselves.
The games included:
"A Bit Dicey"- Balance 6 dice on a popsicle stick held by your mouth.
"Breakfast Scramble"- Assemble the front of a cereal box that has been cut into 16 even pieces.
"Caddy Stack"- Stack 3 golf balls, 1 atop the other.
"Separation Anxiety" - Separate multi-colored candies into individual cups.
"Face the Cookie"- Using only the face, movie a cookie from the forehead to the mouth.
"This Blows"- Blow 8 cups from one edge of the table and off the other side.
"Dizzy Mummy"- Unwind a roll of toilet paper, by executing a series of 360 degree spins.
"Movin' On Up"- Player must hold a stack of cups with one different colored cup at the bottom. Player must move cups one at a time from the bottom until the different colored cup makes it to the top.
And a sprinkling of relay races smattered in-between.
When all was said and done,
second place wasn't too shabby,
especially with this as a prize.
Go team orange!
