(soon=sometime in the late summer or early fall)
He has some plans for our future, about 99% of which are out of state and about 99% of those do not boast the phenomenal skiing that Utah does.
And so, we used our last ski pass to Park City and embarked on what may have been our last ski day for a while to come.
It couldn't have been more perfect:
Clear blue skies
Soft snow
Perfect moguls
lunch at Baja Cantina
and energy and muscle strength that lasted all day (thanks Insanity)
and a special thanks to my dad for making it all happen.
(i.e. inviting us, driving us, buying our lunch, and for all of the years spent as my personal ski instructor)

Jealous! I've been dying to go snow boarding all winter long! AND you went to Baja Cantina?! mmmm hopefully we'll be able to go next winter, looks like you had a great time! glad you were able to go one last time (hopefully its not really your last time! I hope you'll be visiting at christmas if/when you move out of state!)
First off, I didn't realize Taylor was so close to being done with his PhD. That is really awesome and exciting for you guys. I also didn't know that you guys would be moving out of state most likely. That's also awesome, and a little sad because it makes me wish we all would have hung out more often these last few years and finally I am in awe of the fact that you ski moguls. I do not. That is really quite the fete of strength. I'm glad your ski day was so so so perfect. Hopefully it won't be the last.
Looks like a perfect day! Yay for taylor almost being done. Boo for moving out of state.
crystal! we need to chat about you leaving....just before us 3 amigos are about to reunite!!! AHHHH!! HAve you revealed to anyone where these out of state locations might be????
i'm jealous of your perfect ski day! looks wonderful! oh! and baja cantina? They have the best chips and salsa EVER....and the TJ TAXI Entree....isn't it sad that i know it by name! love that place!
Yeah for Taylor graduating! And yeah for an awesome ski day! I'm so jealous, I can't even remember the last time I went skiing- between 3 pregnancies, 3 years of nursing and 3 1/2 years living in a state with no mountains I'm sure it was WAY too long ago. I hope you got a couple of awesome runs in for us. How was your yummy creamy garlic pasta dinner?? Also, I hear Hazel says things like applesauce- maybe when we come out in June she can teach Abbi how to communicate without throwing a temper tantrum!
It has been such pretty blue skies the past few days! I've been thinking about the big move for the 3 of you, and I'm sad! Seriously, I know our once in a blue moon lunches aren't that often but not knowing that you live right up the mountain from me is just nice....you'll be gone!
PS After seeing you I'm seriously contemplating purchasing this insanity workout. You look great!
Haven't been to Baja Cantina in forever!!! Lucky you! That's so awswesome that Taylor is graduating soo, but what's this going out of state?! That sucks!!
You're killing me.
I love that Dad is sporting the bibs. And nice mogul run on Ford Country (or whatever they're calling it now that Chevy is the official sponsor of the U.S. ski team).
We should have invited Mark when I was there, maybe then I could have also had Baja Cantina.
What a wonderful life you have! I am so happy for you.
When did your dad starting eating lunch at A RESTAURANT on a ski day?!? Last I remember, you barely got 20 minutes to eat sitting on the back of the truck. And then there was the time when we were at BYU and Jared met your dad at Park City....your dad accidentally forgot his lunch and was so ticked about it he wouldn't even buy a hamburger at the lodge and skied right through lunch (while the rest of us ate).
If there is going to be days like this...maybe, just maybe I can start hitting the slopes again.
None of that 99% would happen to fall near FL would it? I mean, we do have fresh local produce all year long...and it's 76 degrees right now, and Ashy really wants to hang with Baby Haz
what ?! moving?! how fun but how sad at the same time! well good for Taylor that is awesome! what a fun day at the slopes!
Wow, you realize that dad goes to Baja about once every quarter-century....and we missed out on it!! That SUCKS!! Looks like you guys had fun though!
So fun! It's sad that I can't remember the last time I went skiing! I need to take advantage!
You have been so busy, which sounds like a good thing. I love your crafty Valentines heart and the valentines you made. I'm totally going to steal your idea for next year-super cute and creative. And your table decorations?! Love it!
Hazel is just so cute! Do you inspect her poop often? Just kidding! How can you not??? Briley once at an eraser... we found it a few days later.
Where are all the pics from UDA???
Congrats on the upcoming graduation.
We hope the "99%" aren't too far away, but are exciting places to explore and post about. Can't wait to hear what the next chapter is.
