A month of firsts:
First toddler bed.
Hazel slept on a mattress
held up by cinder blocks.
Thanks to my brother's move,
we inherited this little beauty.
Aunt Karli's first time at the Cache Valley Fair
It also happened to be my first taste of junk food
after finishing Whole30.
I may have gone a little crazy...
Let's just say
that the ribbon fries with nacho cheese
blew my mind.
The Oberg's first taste of Liege Waffles.
We had so much fun celebrating Karli's birthday
while she was here visiting.
Birthday Brunch rocks my world.
The girls first introduction to the Red Hat Society
Grandma Oberg retired some of her favorites,
from which the girls totally benefited.
Our first drive in our new ride
As mentioned in the previous post,
we bought Mike and Kim's mini van
when they moved to Norway.
It's our first car purchase
in the 10 years of our marriage.
We are stoked!
Again,
as mentioned,
we inherited a lot of Mike and Kim's things.
This was one of the most coveted.
Our first time eating at Habit Burger
Thank you to Grandma Frost
for a lunch date
and new school clothes for Hazel.
The first time seeing this crew in way too long.
A big 'thanks' to my sweet friends
for driving all the way up to the CV
so we could have a long overdue playdate.
Hazel's first day of Kindergarten!
Nora's first time mowing the lawn.
Another big 'thank you' to the Jensen's
for unknowingly letting Nora
borrow their toy lawnmower.
Our first time eating at The Rest
We went to SLC for our 10 year anniversary.
It was a dreamy 2 days and 2 nights
of eating,
sleeping
and kid-less partying.
Our first time indulging at Bruge's Waffles.
The first time at Lagoon
since we've been married.
I wish I could say
that this was Nora's first time
in our strawberry patch.
It was not.
And finally,
the first time seeing these beauties
as a forever family.
Who knew
that the end of summer
could be so full of "firsts"?
