Water, Water, Everywhere- June 2014

You know summer is in full swing,
when a month starts with water activities
and ends with water activities.

We took a quick break from the water
so that I could seriously sprain my ankle
at a Zumba class
(which I'm STILL trying to recover from),
to make dinner for my parent's
for Father's day/my Mom's birthday
(sorry you got cut out of your birthday pic mom!),

to get the girl's faces painted at Summer Fest,

and to get my makeup professionally done

so that I could be a part of this lovely couple's wedding.

But we decided to go back to the water,
with a trip to St. George.

We needed to pack on the calories for our water activities,
so we ate,
a lot!

and then headed back to the water.

Another break from the water
to search for wildlife,

hike,

check out the sand dunes,

and do sparklers.

We were really grateful
that the boys practiced changing a tire,

so that we weren't stranded
when we tried to go back to the water.

We left the water just long enough
to celebrate Nora's 2nd birthday
with a McDonald's icecream cone,

enjoy St. George's awesome Children's museum,

 Fiesta Fun,

and Tuachan.

But then we headed back to the water at the splash pad.

(sidenote:
A BIG thank you to my parents
for such an awesome vacation)

One final water hiatus,
to really celebrate Nora's birthday
with hamburgers, Minnie Mouse

and a strawberry cake.

and then it was back to the water
to check out her brand new water table.
