June Was a Month of Beginnings and Ends

This was Hazel at the beginning
of her first year in pre-school
(sept 2012)
and here she is
at the end.

June was the beginning of consistently warm weather
which marked the beginning of our garden,

lots of time spent in the water,

sunglass wearing,

and an endless amount of popsicles.

The beginning of June was the Utah Valley Half Marathon,
which (thankfully) was the end of training

and thanks to an amazing sister-in-law who kept our running on pace,
we ended our run in less than 2 hours.
1:58 to be exact!
Boo-yeah

June 18 marked the end of my mom's 50's
(sorry to out you mom!)
which we celebrated with the best 60th birthday party
(in July,
so I won't be blogging about it
until next month's posts)

June was the end of bottles
(goodbye baby),
 and the beginning of walking
(hello toddler).

June also began a great tradition
of Monday night's
spent up the canyon
with, lots of dirt, lots of food and friends.

And finally,
June 23
ended my baby's first year
