Finally...

Well, I've been holding out on a new post so that Taylor could post his Peru trip. He keeps telling me how he doesn't want me to do it for him, but when some free time rolls around he never feels like doing it. I have a feeling that it will probably never happen so I'm moving on.

Last May after we graduated Taylor was looking for a job and I suggested getting a hair-cut for his interviews, which he did, but ended up resenting me for it later. Apparently he had a pretty good start on phase 1 of the grow-out process when my recommendation came. From that day forward Taylor never came near a pair of scissors. After about 6 months we started getting comments such as:

1. (waiter) "what can I get for you ladies?"
2. (visiting teacher) "I saw you guys outside walking the other day I thought you were two lesbians living in the town homes together."
3. (people in my parent's ward) "Is Taylor a rebellious kid?"
4. (annonymous) "I thought he was homeless"
5. (Taylor's brother's reaction upon seeing it) "Holy Jesus"

I think all of the gawking fueled Taylor's fire and he ended up growing it out for over a year. I don't know if it was the heat in Peru or the fact that it was always getting in his face and I wouldn't let him wear it in a ponytail, but he FINALLY decided to cut it and it looks fantastic!

Well that is a good looking hair cut. I am slightly jealous that he has a bit of curl in his hair. How lucky he is that it looks good long and short. It really looks great. I think that the comments that you received from people were quite funny. I didn't think most people would say things like that. It cracks me up.

Wow, I really like it, it looks great. I was thinking as I was reading (before I got to the pictures) "I bet it looks weird" (sorry it's the truth) but I had invisioned a missionary cut and thought that would not suit Taylor at all. This however, really looks great and he didnt even have to give it all away to the coorporate world! Nice median! I loved all the comments you got, dont you hope people out there are judging you entirely based on your hair, that sounds like a good method....right??
